Additional coverages

Every car rental with Hertz Moldova includes collision damage waiver and a 24/7 road assistance. However, you always expect the unexpected. Fortunately Hertz Moldova has a range of additional coverages to travel with peace of mind!

Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW): Reduce your liability to a minimum charge, according to the car group you have picked, by paying an additional small fee in the price of CDW.

The following cases are not covered:

• Damage to the underside of the car
• Damage to the wheels & tires
• Broken car glass
• Loss of the vehicle keys and documents.

Super Cover (SUP): Τhe renter can be covered (with zero excess) in case of total theft or damage to the Hertz vehicle, provided that the renter has previously accepted the relevant coverage charges for CDW, SCDW, and TP, or has a reservation inclusive of these coverages. Damages caused to the underside and wheels of the vehicle are not covered by any insurance.

Windscreen Protection (WSP): Provides cover against consequences of damages on windscreen. If WSP is not accepted, the client will be held liable for the full value of damage on the windscreen. Moreover, WSP is not included in SUP.

Theft Protection (TP)*: Reduce your financial responsibility in case of theft of the rented car to a minimum charge, based on the car group you have chosen.

* Theft Protection does not cover theft of personal belongings from the rented car.
