The Supplier will generally pre-authorise the security deposit amount of your rental vehicle on your credit card. The deposit is an amount held on your credit card for security purposes. It will be released in full unless there are unexpected charges resulting from, for example, traffic fines, returning the car with missing fuel or in need of additional cleaning. Keep in mind that the deposit amount shown does not usually include the rental cost.

The Supplier will generally book a pre-authorization for the security deposit amount of your rental vehicle on your credit card. Please note that the security deposit may still be required even when you reduce the deductible to zero or to a lower level by purchasing additional insurance product.

The renter MUST produce the same credit card when picking up the vehicle that was used for the prepaid booking for identification and security reasons. If the card originally used has expired, been lost/stolen, you must produce the replacement card from the same card issuer. The card must be in your name and the issue/expiry dates should correspond to those of the original card.

Please note that the security deposit indicated here is an estimated amount. The exact deposit amount depends on various factors, like your rental time, length of rental, applicable waivers and fees, your place of residence and your exact rental location. This means that the actual deposit amount may occasionally differ from the standard deposit amount.

Credit card deposits are accepted.

Debit card deposits are also accepted.

Electronic cards are not accepted for deposit.

Prepaid card deposits are accepted.

All cards used must be in your name.

A security deposit of EUR 300.00 is required depending on the car category.

You can lower the deposit amount by purchasing additional coverage products from the Supplier when you pick up the rental vehicle.

Please be informed, for vehicle groups (W1) Mercedes GLC, (P1) BMW 3 Series or similar, (P2) Lexus RX450 Hybrid or similar, (P3) Volvo XC90, (L1) BMW 5 Series or similar, ( S1) Skoda Superb or similar, (W2) Mercedes GLE or similar, (W3) Mercedes V Class or similar, renter must present 2 credit cards. Vouchers Full Credit Voucher (FCV) and One Trip Travel Order (OTTO) are also accepted as credit cards. Inclusive Tour Vouchers (ITVs), Restricted Credit Vouchers (RCVs) and Miscellaneous Charge Orders (MCOs) are accepted if accompanied by an acceptable credit card.

Money in Cash. Cash is accepted for vehicle groups, except vehicle group (W1) Mercedes GLC, (P1) BMW Series 3 or similar, (P2) Lexus RX450 Hybrid or similar, (P3) Volvo XC90, (L1) BMW Series 5 or similar, (S1) Skoda Superb or similar, (W2) Mercedes GLE or similar, (W3) Mercedes V Class or similar.
